Grisamore Farms is looking for outgoing, reliable people with pleasant personalities to join our team. We follow all guidelines from GAPs (Good Agricultural Practices network) which requires all employees to practice proper hygiene within a food environment. Our goal is to provide quality customer service to all our patrons. Our farm business requires interacting with people, particularly customers. All employees must be friendly, courteous, patient and outgoing. During peak times, we are extremely busy; so, we require all employees to be able to move quickly and efficiently while maintaining their cheerfulness and enthusiasm. Training and a handbook will be provided for the specific duties and requirements of Grisamore Farms employees.
Cashier Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Be able to lift at least 30 pounds. Be able to interact well with co-workers. Be able to get to work on time everyday. Prior cashier experience helpful. Greenhouse cashier-horticulture background/experience helpful		Farm Store/Greenhouse Cashier Responsibilities: Cleaning farm store/ greenhouse and bathroom facilities. Operation of cash register and credit card machine. Use of proper telephone skills. Preparing and stocking farm store or greenhouse with plants/produce. Assisting customers with their purchases and carrying them to car. Field Cashier Responsibilities: Be prepared with proper attire for weather conditions. Operation of cash register and credit card machine. Keep track of selling supplies.
